Antique frames, figures, altars, furniture and decorative art all carry traces of their history. Before any intervention, I therefore assess the materials, condition and earlier treatments carefully.

Meticulous handwork

I reconstruct losses where appropriate, stabilise surfaces and conserve historic finishes. Traditional materials and methods enable me to achieve a durable and comprehensible result.

Working with specialists

For ecclesiastical and listed objects, I coordinate my work with diocesan building departments, the Federal Monuments Authority and the relevant regional authorities.
