2. General information
Personal data is processed only where necessary to provide this website securely, communicate with you or initiate and perform a commission. The website is transmitted using encrypted HTTPS. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
3. Hosting and server logs
When you access the website, the hosting provider may process technically required data in server logs. This may include your IP address, date and time, requested address, amount of data transferred, HTTP status, referring page and browser and operating-system information.
The purposes are technical delivery, stability, error analysis and protection against misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website. Recipients may include the hosting provider and commissioned IT service providers. Log data is retained only for as long as required for these purposes and any statutory duties.
4. Technically necessary session
The website uses a technically necessary PHP session. A randomly generated session identifier may be stored in a cookie. It is used in particular to protect the contact form against forged or abusive submissions and not for analytics or advertising. The cookie generally expires at the end of the browser session; server-side session data is deleted through the server’s automatic cleanup.
The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is IT security and a functioning contact form. The storage is also technically necessary under Section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 and therefore does not require consent.
5. Contact form, email and telephone
When you contact us, we process the information you provide – in the form, particularly your name, email address, subject and message – to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The required confirmation in the form merely records that you have read this policy; it is not consent under data protection law.
Where your enquiry concerns a contract or pre-contractual steps, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Other enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries. Recipients may include the hosting, email and IT service providers used. Any further disclosure takes place only where permitted or required by law.
Enquiry data is deleted when handling is complete unless statutory retention periods or legitimate interests, such as documenting a business relationship, require further retention. If a commission is placed, statutory business and tax retention obligations apply in particular.
6. External links and services
Google Maps, Instagram, Facebook and the Economic Chamber company profile are linked only and are not embedded as external content. Simply visiting this website therefore does not establish a connection to those providers through these links. Their respective privacy policies apply only after you click a link.
This website currently uses no analytics or marketing services and loads no external webfonts. A cookie-consent banner is therefore not required for its current functionality.
7. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the rights of access (Article 15 GDPR), rectification (Article 16), erasure (Article 17), restriction of processing (Article 18), data portability (Article 20) and objection (Article 21). Where processing is exceptionally based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with future effect.
To exercise your rights, contact vergolder@aon.at. Appropriate proof of identity may be required to prevent unauthorised disclosure.
8. Right to lodge a complaint
You may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority:
Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, Austria
Email: dsb@dsb.gv.at
9. Changes to this policy
This privacy policy will be updated if the website, the services used or legal requirements change. The current version published on this page applies.
